In 1905, John H. Mills a talented
vocalist in his own right, married Ethel Harrington. In 1907 they moved to Piqua,
Ohio where they raised seven children that included the next
generation of Mills musical talent.
This 1931 recording of Tiger Rag set a new
precedent, as
The Mills Brothers became the first vocal group in the
history of broadcast to sell a million records!
